Our approach

Understanding the brief. Developing the design. Guiding its realisation. Completing the home.

Stage 01

Project overview

Before a line is drawn

We establish what the interior needs to do, how it should feel and the priorities that will guide the design.

Scope of work

  1. Engage with you to understand your vision, lifestyle and design preferences.
  2. Present mood boards and a curated colour palette for your feedback and approval.

Your part in the process

Share how you use the space, what matters to you and your design preferences. Review the brief and initial direction with us.

What this stage establishes

A shared brief and an initial mood and colour direction to guide design development.

Stage 02

Design concept

The interior takes form

The brief becomes a coordinated interior scheme, allowing you to understand and review the design before it moves into making.

Scope of work

  1. Strategic space planning to resolve circulation and flow.
  2. 2D drawings, 3D renderings and rendered elevations.
  3. A selection of material samples for your evaluation.
  4. The 3D design includes one round of revisions.

Your part in the process

Review the proposed layouts, visualisations and samples with us, so the design can be refined around your priorities.

What this stage establishes

A developed design expressed through drawings, visualisations, material selections and technical interior details.

Stage 03

Design guardianship

The idea, carried into making

We help carry the developed design into realisation, keeping its intent clear for the appointed makers, suppliers and project team.

Scope of work

  1. Refine the scope of work and prepare the bill of quantities.
  2. Curate the final selection of materials in line with the design.
  3. Recommend vendors and obtain competitive quotations.
  4. Handle material purchasing where required.
  5. Weekly calls or site visits to review progress and quality.
  6. Coordinate the contractors and subcontractors involved.

Your part in the process

Review final selections and the quotations relevant to your appointment, with design questions discussed as the work progresses.

What this stage establishes

Resolved specifications and coordinated design information to support the appointed delivery team.

Earendel’s role is to guide and review the design within its appointed scope. Turnkey delivery, where required, is a separate appointment; the responsibilities of the delivery team are agreed separately.

Stage 04

Furniture & accessories

The rooms come to life

The final layer brings the rooms together: furniture, lighting, textiles and objects, considered as one complete interior.

Scope of work

  1. Compile the furniture and décor required for each area.
  2. Select a cohesive collection of pieces tailored to each room.
  3. Work with suppliers and brands to meet the agreed budget.
  4. Manage delivery logistics and quality control.
  5. Arrange furniture and place décor ahead of handover.

Your part in the process

Review the furniture and accessory selections with us before the final arrangement and handover.

What this stage establishes

The interior brought together through installation, arrangement and styling, within the agreed commission.

After handover

Care for the home, beyond completion.

Property Care and periodic Home Health Checks can continue the relationship after handover, through coordinated servicing, preventive maintenance and the early identification of concerns. These are separate services, shaped around the needs of the property.
